Prime location, friendly staff. The room was OK in general, but don't leave a clean feeling (old carpets, furniture, curtains and wallpaper). Overpriced for what you get.

We could see the top of the leaning tower from our hotel room which was good, and it's easy enough to get around Pisa. It was a quirky building which felt a bit more personal than your standard chain hotels. Breakfast was OK. There is a restaurant right next to the hotel which we dined at a couple of times and it was very nice food. The room was very quiet. The bathroom was small, and cigarette smoke got into our room through the bathroom vent. This was quite unpleasant as it was quite strong, neither of us smoke and we both had colds!

The location can't be beat. Right on the 'Piazza dei Miracoli', you may even get a room with a view of the tower... Bus stop to Pisa Centrale is just outside the hotel, so it is great for your onward journey... Breakfast is very basic (Bread rolls, croissants and coffee)...
