V Hotel is perched above Lavender MRT station, within walking distance to Jalan Besar Stadium and about two and a half kilometres to the Merlion Park. Kallang Riverside Park and National Stadium are also within walking distance from the premises.

Very off handed at check in. Staff had a bad attitude towards guests. Room that we were given would have been a little larger than a cupboard with a curtain on one wall which when drawn back showed us a brick wall!!!! We naturally complained to front desk but we did over hear that "what was all the fuss when we were there for only a day". They did change our room but the guy that brought up our keys just gave it to us and walked away. No apology, nothing. Maybe everyone at the hotel was having a bad day, but I definitely won't be going back and would not recommend it at all. It is cheap in comparison to other hotels in Singapore, but then what you pay is what you get!!!!

Location is the most strategic place, near lavender MRT, kopitiam food court..... But uncomfortable waiting room

Location is good, just infront the MRT station. Take few minutes to go to Bugis Junction. Also near to Geylang.

Fairly clean, great location (lavendar MRT) and some good shops down below, pool is nice. That's about it though. Rooms are deceptively small, we booked a queen sized bed and it was a double, no doubt about it but they argued the point. You found yourself moving sideways around the room as you hardly had enough room to face forward. Bed was comfortable but rooms are really noisy, you can hear any door close from about 5-6 rooms away and can hear above expected about of noise from neighbouring rooms. Elevator system is slow and also small, expect to wait 10+ minutes to get from the 10th to first floor. Rooms also smell mildewy, would hate to see this hotel in 5 years.Unless I was coming here for a 1 night stop over I would not stay here again.

I chose this hotel for its price and location. It is directly above Lavender MRT station. There is a food court (open 24 hours) below the hotel. The rooms are smallish but comfortable and assuming you are not spending all day in the room will suit most people fine. Accommodation is generally expensive in Singapore so for me who stays there regularly, I would happily recommend V Hotel Lavender and stay there again. The breakfast is a bit poor and if you arrive towards the end of service time is mostly finished, given the availability locally, next time I would take a room only basis.
