Established in 1978 the 3 star Townhouse has a long standing commitment to the comfort of our guests. The Townhouse Dublin Hotel offers you a unique range of bed and breakfast accommodation in a relaxing; comfortable and friendly atmosphere. The original Townhouses were the elegant family homes of two famous playwrights; Dion Boucicault- 1829-1890 and Lafcadio Hearn-1850-1904. Their memories have been honoured by displays in the lobby of memorabilia; photographs and original playbills. Both men had colourful and singular lives and their histories are recounted in full in the lobby. Each bedroom is named after one of their works and are all decorated in a Georgian or modern style and equipped with Satellite TV; tea and coffee making facilities; desk; safe; air conditioning; heating; en-suite bathroom with hairdryer and WiFi.
