Stayed 3 days, and provided a good base to explore Townsville. Had sole use of the pool and spa. Parking became difficult on Saturday night, otherwise easy free parking.

My stay at Rydges Southbank Townsville was almost perfect. The room was comfortable and clean, the service was very friendly and professional. The restaurant too, was staffed by courteous and professional wait staff and very an excellent chef. The Garlic Prawns were the tastiest I have eaten. The hotel is central to town, cafes, museums. I would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Townsville.

Only spent one night here, but found it very enjoyable. Good location, and close plenty of restaurants, and only a short walk to the city centre.
