Location
Rydges Esplanade Resort is on Abbott Street in Cairns overlooking Coral Sea, four kilometres from Cairns International Airport. Vacationers can visit Cairns Wildlife Dome or catch shows at Cairns Civic Theatre.

I have stayed here a fair few times now , it is a 10 min walk to the mall , I like the gym they have there, which has near everything you could hope for in it .

The stay was most enjoyable. The location was lovely as were the hotel and facilities. The only criticism was that when I paid the final bill, I had to prove that the buffet breakfast was included in the package which I had purchased, which was disappointing, but seems to occur at quite a few hotels when one books through certain websites. I highly recommend the hotel.

The 12 level hotel with mountain views, nice swimming pool and tennis court, I booked for standard room and got the top level with fantastic views! the room was very comfy. located north Cairns but drive to night market and city only a few minutes, about 15 minutes on foot. there is nothing I am not satisfied with, defenitely will come back again!

A very nice hotel. Lovely rooms and nice restaurant and pool. A bit of a walk into the city centre but lovely surroundings.
