Regal Oriental Hotel Hong Kong Guest Reviews
This was my 4th trip to HK and my 3rd staying at the Regal Oriental. I love the location - right next to where the airport used to be in upper Kowloon. It's close enough to the hustle and bustle of Mong Kok thanks to he excellent transport system without being too busy, and thankfully well away from the far more western Homg Kong island. The neighbourhood is great and contains the Kowloon Walled City Park, which is well worth exploring for a bit of recent history. The hotel itself is good, decently priced and comfortable. The only issue for me is the pricing of their wifi service, which could be called extortionate!

Stayed at Regal Oriental Hotel for 3 days and 2 nights. The ambiance of the room is excellent. You can smell from the front door the cleanliness of the hotel. Although the room is small, my 2 children were able to enjoy and roam around. Will be staying here if in Hong Kong.

The location is quite good, easy to access to the public transport and the food district is just a few minutes walk away. We enjoyed our stay in general.

Strong and lingering smoking smell inside the room probably due to the large number of clients from mainland China whose males are mostly likely cigarete smokers. You must book for the hourly shuttle and it often fully book fairly quickly. There is no MTR nearby in Kowloon City. Fortunately nearby buses to central city are plentiful.

The hotel itself is located in a handy location with plenty of public transport options (except MTR) and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Room rates are super competitive and this was my main reason for staying this time. I tried both their superior room and standard room. The superior room is worth the extra money if you can make the stretch. You get bigger rooms and more bathroom privacy (the standard rooms make do with only a white shower curtain to cover over clear not frosted glass). I had a blocked toilet which was quickly resolved even though it occured at midnight!
