The room was comfortable and quiet and the housekeeping was good.The hotel is in a good location but it is aimed at the Russian/East European market and the buffet breakfast was poor by US/Aust standards. Bar prices were 2x the hotel across the road. Better value offpeak periods

Poppa Palace is a nice, comfortable hotel for a reasonable price. I recommend it to everyone !

Poppa Palace is off rowdy bangla street yet of walking distance. It is also near to the beach, approx. 3 to 5 mins walk away. The deluxe room is quite spacious but i do feel the housekeeping attendant needs to be more attentive. You have to open up the tissue case to show that it's empty or it will not be refilled. Note: This is a 3-star hotel so do not expect room to have full amenities. Ask front desk for hair dryer if you need one. No toothbrush kit or shaver provided.

Would recommend this hotel without a moments hesitation. Fantastic location - no need to look around for anything else as this place has it all including a great selection of food for breakfast.
