Le Meridien Bangkok Guest Reviews
The hotel was very nice and I had an excellent stay there. My room was large and comfortable with a delightful bathroom and good desk. There is free Internet in the lobby only but it is a comfortable place and it is easy to buy a SIM card for data in Thailand and use that instead of expensive hotel Internet. There is a small convenience store right next to the hotel and plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. The hotel gave free bottled water in the room and the best coffee (French press) I have ever had in a room. The pool is lovely as well. Don't be put off by the location next to Patpong Rd. This is actually a very good location, close to the Skytrain and other amenities. In fact I really liked the area which had everything from temples to sleaze to McDonalds and it is very lively at night without being disturbing at all.

This is a gorgeous hotel with the most stunning interior designs. It's well located with an excellent bar and restaurant. My only complaint is the ridiculously high charge for WiFi. It's time 5 star hotels recognised that WiFi should be free like it is in just about every 3 @ 4 star hotel and coffee shop.

I stayed at Le Meridien Bangkok for 3 nights over New Year 2011. I arrived early in the morning - and was hoping to drop my bags and check in later, but they were kind enough to let me check in early (8 am!). The room was spotless and perfectly comfortable, with a great view of the Bangkok skyline. The only downside was that wireless internet was expensive - and unreliable, but this is true of many hotels. Location was great with Sala Daeng station a short walk away. I'll definitely recommend Le Meridien.
