An excellent hotel once inside. The location, whilst being a good base from which to tour with the use of transport, was awkward if walking as it's a bit of a hill climb to say the least from the local shopping area. I would reccomend this hotel, but unless you're happy to stay within, car hire is a must.

What a lovely hotel with a spectacular view. We were sorry we only stayed for one night. However, we used the pool and spa (great fun!) and ate in the bar. The food was wonderful. Breakfast the following morning was also delicious. I was able to get a 'real' pot of tea for the first time in a week! We would definitiely go there again.

Just returned back from a week stay in the valparaiso palace hotel,beautiful hotel,great big pools,not crowded at all. we loved the spa{one of the nicest ones we,ve been to}

The hotel has the same staff from year to year. They are extremely friendly and nothing is too much for them. The food is excellent. The new spa and wellness centre is one of the best I have visited.
