Location
Easy to use and inexpensive public transportation gets you from the Grand Hotel Amstelveen to any museum, such as the Rijksmuseum or the Van Gogh Museum, in minutes.
Rooms
All 99 newly renovated rooms boast radio, television, safe, telephone, wireless internet access, and coffeemaker. The rooms are both stylish and comfortable.
Restaurant
Although there is not a restaurant on site, right across the street from the hotel there is the T GeregT, a relaxing and informal option to grab a bite to eat. For something more formal, nearby there is also the La Fontaine, which offers an a la carte menu and an extensive wine list.
General
A benefit of staying at the Grand Hotel Amstelveen is that they provide free admission and shuttle service to All Sports from Monday through Thursday. You can enjoy the use of their sauna, swimming pool, and large workout centre. Provides a very nice stay at excellent value if you don't mind being a bit out of town.

We could not have asked for better! The room was spotless and very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent - you could eat enough to stock up for the day if necessary! When I return to Amsterdam, I shall almost definitely stay at the Grand again. Although it's a little way out of the city centre, it is very well served by the no. 170 buses which run very frequently and this is also a splendid way of seeing some of the city en route.

Good adjoining tennis & 10 pin bowling facilities. Good resturant next to the hotel. Very pleasent and helpful staff.
