formosa is old and tired .unmowed lawns,spa did not work,cold coffee,we did not enjoy our stay we believe it was not value for money.the positive was the size of the room and the driving range.

This was a very nice Hotel and the room facilities were excellant. The room facilities indicated Wireless Internet was available, this was not obvious from the information available in the room neither did the check in person advise about options for guests. We felt this was pretty slack service for such a apparent prestige resort.

Formosa Golf Resort is a long way from Auckland Central and therefore only convenient if playing golf there or in the area for a specific event - we were there for a wedding. Venue is underutilised and very quiet. Units are spacious especially the bathrooms. The units are in need of a face lift but still very comfortable and quiet. You need a car! Staff friendly.

Cute Villas that give you more privacy because they are separated into groups of two. Great facilities and awesome bathroom! AMAZING! THe Resort as a whole was a little dated but very pleasant
