Brno Hotels

General Information
With a metro population close to 750,000 people, Brno is second only in size to Prague in the Czech Republic. The capital of the South Moravian Region is a lively city, with a history that dates back to at least the 5th century. As the home of the Czech Supreme Court, the city is a vital cog in the national discussion.
Though Brno may not be as brazen as Prague, the city’s serene, cosmopolitan air is a boon to intrepid tourists who want a taste of the real Czech Republic. A tidy historic center makes exploration on foot fun and convenient, with a slew of landmarks to enjoy. The best of the lot include St. Peter and Paul Cathedral and Spilberk Castle. UNESCO World Heritage Tugendhat Villa is a remarkable modern masterpiece of German architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. Last but not least, no trip to Brno is complete without a tour of the spectacular Moravian Karst nature reserve.
