Location
Base Hostel is situated on Shotover Street in the heart of Queenstown, close to Queenstown Gardens and about six and a half kilometres to Queenstown International Airport. Visitors have easy access to Queenstown Hill Recreation Reserve.

Nice and brilliant place. Strategic. Would prefer if they turn on the central heater during my stay there as it was quite cold. However the common kitchen was a bit poorly ventilated.

Prepare yourself to be awake until about 3am. Queenstown is party central so if you want a sleep---don't stay here. Its right beside about 3 night clubs. The double bed turned out to be 2 singles but the front desk guys were really great. It was a room nonetheless. Cheers

Very good experience, excellent staff. Only downer is the building makes me feel claustrophobic
