BEST WESTERN PLUS Garden City Hotel Canberra Guest Reviews
I'm disgusted to think I was not told pior to the booking that the restaurant would not be open for dinner on Saturday nights. I would certainly not have stayed there had I have known this and it totally spoiled my plans for the evening. I sincerely HOPE this message gets forwarded to somene in management whoat least cares about the 'paying guests' who provide HIS livelihood.

The hotel advertises it has a gym but it isnt worth using. There is a large gym next door which is only $12 for casual use.

The best hotel meals I've had in many years

We were disappointed after making a dinner booking for 7.30 pm to be served our meal at 8.45 pm and when requesting the dessert menu were told that the kitchen was closed. The dinner wait service was very slow, but the breakfast staff made up for it. The cigarette butts and rubbish sat in the gutter outside the back car park entrance for the whole week that we were there. The Receptionist staff were very efficent and helpful - no fault with them.
