Vitals and Tips
The Sydney Opera House has seven distinct venues, the largest of which holds 2,678 spectators. The Opera House stages as many as 1,500 performances a year, to a total audience of about 1.5 million. Tours are available throughout the year and last for one hour.
In addition to a regular tour of the grand facility, the Opera House offers a more exclusive, intimate tour that takes visitors backstage. The two-hour tour includes a full breakfast and opportunity to play conductor in the orchestra pit.
