This was the best location...just around the corner from the square. Very accomodating staff, trying to keep us happy. The centre of Christchurch was a bit of a mess due to the recent earthquake but was little drama once we had a handle on the one way set up and closures. It was so easy to walk anywhere around the main areas of interest. Happy as with this stay here, even extened our time.

Located in the central business district, good sized, clean rooms but noisy at nights from street life even 7 stories up. No onsite parking - public parking building around the block. Not air conditioned. No desk for doing e-mails.Reception closes early. Probably more suited to private traveller rather than the business corporate user. Cheaper than other 5 star CBD hotels for above reasons.

It had only recently opened when we stayed. Very disappointing for a 5 star, overpriced and breakfast buffet not great.

Excellent central place to stay in Christchurch right near everything. Very clean and newly renovated. Only negative point was that the bedroom we stayed in at the front heard all the party revellers going home on Saturday evening and woke us up in the early hours of the evening. Needs more double glazing.
